Growing Spiritually with Julie Naturally

It was Mama's turn to study while growing spiritually through the Faith Journeys Bible Study Series: Romans bundle with Julie Polanco from Julie Naturally.

I went through an 8 week study with Julie through the book of Romans.  The study is video-based and a study guide is available to print (or shipped for a small fee).  The videos feel like you're right there in Julie's living room with her while watching.  I also can listen to the videos while in my office working on sewing projects.

In the study guide, there is a scripture focus and questions for thought following along in the study.  These work best for me because it allows me to dig deeper into scripture and grow more spiritually.

As you go through the study and read through the book of Romans, there are memory verse cards inside the study guide for each week.  You can cut these out and post them wherever you will see them the most.  For me, it's in the kitchen, above the stove.

Memory verse above the stove, taped to my microwave.

I loved this study.  Julie talked about quite a few things that resonated with me and convicted me.  For example, in Week 3, she discussed how suffering helps give us hope.  Not that we are suffering in an extreme way, but 2020 has brought about many disappointments to us as a homeschool family.  But through our suffering, I have so much hope that the extra time spent with my children and my husband will reap so many great memories in the future.

Julie also reminded me that Christmas is coming; the most important day of the year!  Yet, there is so much noise and distraction right now that is turning our eyes away from this great day.  This is opening my eyes as well.

Once you have made it through the Romans study, or if a different study interests you, Julie has a Philippians study on her website.

I would definitely recommend this study any woman looking for a scripture-based study who is new in their faith and even those who are not so new ;)  Also, teens may enjoy this study.  With 3 to 5 questions a day, it is perfect for busy Moms as well.

The Romans study was a blessing to me in a time like we are in now and in the season of life that I am in too.
