Home School in the Woods has many, many, different products to choose from.  A lot of their learning materials are geared for 3rd grade and up, but these Lap-Paks are suggested for grades K through 2nd.  I LOVE the idea of Lapbooks.  I'm looking forward to utilizing them more on our homeschool journey. Recently, we took Kory (4) to our local medieval dinner and tournament event center.  She loved watching the falcon fly overhead, the dancing horses, the Knights jousting, and being allowed to eat her food with her hands. Soon after that, we were contacted to try out Carole P. Roman's assorted series and it was right on time!  Included in the set we received was a book about living in Medieval times; "If You Were Me and Lived in the Middle Ages." Kory enjoyed learning what it would be like to be a pre-teen girl living in 1072 A.D.  It made us very thankful for the blessings we have today. Now we have a bit of history in our memory for the next time we go to a Knight jousting event! ;) We also
